Deuces Wild 2 EFI System

The Aces Deuces Wild 2 isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a statement.
Built for the driver who refuses to settle, this 2-barrel throttle body EFI system replaces your carb or outdated EFI with modern precision and raw power. Using a 2300-style flange and a recessed base, it drops right onto single or dual-plane manifolds. With support for up to 350 HP naturally aspirated and 300 HP under boost, the Deuces Wild 2 is made to feed whatever you’re building: street bruiser, boosted weekend warrior, or nitrous-hungry drag car.

An integrated 3-bar TMAP sensor supports up to 27 psi of boost for turbo and supercharged applications, while two 100 lb/hr injectors comfortably feed up to 350 HP. It’s already compatible with blow-through, draw-through, and nitrous setups right out of the box. And when our boost control software update lands in Fall 2025, the hardware inside is already ready to run with PWM boost solenoid control for true precision under pressure.

Power Meets Simplicity

At Aces, we build EFI systems that make serious power simple.

The Deuces Wild 2 is a DIY-friendly system designed for enthusiasts of all skill levels. Wire it in, answer a few setup questions, fire it up, and the self-learning ECU takes over by fine-tuning your fuel maps automatically. For most street builds, that’s all it takes. For the tuners who want total control, our free laptop software unlocks full manual tuning access, which is ideal for mild to aggressive builds running high-lift cams, forced induction, or nitrous.

Once your engine reaches operating temperature, the system goes closed-loop and starts learning in real time. After a few drives, your tune dials itself in, and when you’re happy with it, you can disable learning and lock it down. That’s confidence you can feel at every throttle blip.

Ignition Compatibility

Whether you’re running an HEI, canister coil, or aftermarket system like MSD or Holley, the Deuces Wild 2 plays nice. It can also digitally control timing with a Hall-effect or mechanically locked magnetic distributor and works seamlessly with CD ignition boxes.

If you’re looking to go all-in, Aces offers complete Hall-effect and magnetic distributors, ignition coils, and fuel systems designed to work together for maximum reliability and spark control.

Engineered for Real Performance

The Deuces Wild 2 doesn’t just look tough; it’s built that way.
Every component is designed for precision, durability, and real-world performance.

  • Remote-Mounted ECU: Unlike systems that bury electronics inside the throttle body, the Deuces Wild 2 keeps its ECU separate. This remote-mounted design protects it from heat and vibration, ensuring long-term reliability and easy serviceability.

  • Cast Aluminum ECU Housing: Provides superior heat dissipation and RFI/EMI shielding. The ECU case doubles as a heatsink for internal drivers, improving reliability and lifespan.

  • Bosch LSU 4.9 WBO2 Sensor: Faster, more accurate readings with the latest planar sensing technology.

  • Ported Vacuum: Supports vacuum advance on non-timing-control distributors like HEI or mechanical setups.

  • Roller Bearing Throttle Shafts: Reduce friction and eliminate idle issues caused by bushing wear.

  • Low-Profile Design: Works with more air cleaner setups (including drop-base filters) while fitting easily under most factory and aftermarket air cleaners.

Next-Gen ECU Power (Gen 2 Technology)

This isn’t just another ECU refresh; it’s a total architecture upgrade.
The Gen 2 Aces ECU delivers faster processing, deeper tables, and smarter data handling for the most precise control we’ve ever offered.

Core System Upgrades:

  • More Memory: Expanded program space for advanced control algorithms and adaptive strategies.

  • DMA-Based ADC Acquisition: Faster, cleaner, and more accurate sensor readings.

  • Enhanced Interrupt Handling: Responds quicker to changing conditions for smoother performance.

  • Expanded Timer Functions: Greater precision for timing-critical events.

Mapping & Sensor Enhancements:

  • 31x31 VE Tables: Almost triple the resolution for stock, mild, and race modes.

  • 31x31 Self-Learning Tables: Sharper adaptive fuel control across every RPM band.

  • 31x31 Ignition Maps: More detail means smoother spark transitions and better power delivery.

  • Fuel Level Sensor Support: Integrates with your existing or aftermarket sender.

  • Boost Control-Ready Hardware: Already compatible with boost setups and prepped for PWM boost control with software activation coming Fall 2025.

  • Boost Pressure Monitoring: Direct sensor acquisition for live boost tracking.

System Integration

The Deuces Wild 2 connects seamlessly with Dakota Digital clusters using the Aces BIM-01-2-ACES module (sold separately). It outputs a clean tach signal for both factory and classic-style gauges and supports systems that don’t rely on CAN data.

If you’re moving from a stock or aftermarket EFI that uses CAN to drive your gauges, you may need to review those connections for compatibility.

All Aces ECUs are built on 32-bit automotive-grade processors, the same specs used by OEM manufacturers, not the slower, industrial-grade 16-bit chips common in other aftermarket systems.

The system runs at 43–60 PSI fuel pressure and supports return or returnless configurations, depending on your pump. Internally regulated in-tank pumps can run returnless, while external, inline, or surge setups will need a return line.

Easy Weekend Install

For most applications, we built the Deuces Wild 2 to install in a weekend. No crew, no laptop wizardry. Bolt it on, wire it up, answer a few setup questions, and let it learn. From the first startup to full throttle, it’s designed to be as straightforward as EFI gets.

When you’re ready to leave the carb behind, the Deuces Wild 2 gives you everything you love about old-school performance with all the brains of modern EFI.
No compromises. No headaches. Just results.

If the Shoe (throttle body) Fits

The Deuces Wild system was designed with a 2300 style flange making it an exact fit for the majority of smaller applications. If your manifold is different, you can simply use a flange adaptor to make it work. The system is generally compatible with stock ignition, but to take advantage of timing control features that the system offers, you'll want to use a magnetic pickup distributor and separate ignition coil- both of which are included in our Top End and Master Kits!

Computing Power

A robust remote-mounted ECU that utilizes our OEM standard 32-bit architecture. This allows the system to manage input/output signals, voltage, and RPM faster and more consistently than our competitors. A remote-mounted ECU allows it to avoid dreaded heat-and-vibration-induced hardware failures that are prevalent in other aftermarket systems.

Plug 'n' Play

Not a tuning wiz? You don't need to be since we provide a wizard for you. Our self-learning* functionality means you only have to answer a few basic questions in the startup wizard, and then the ECU takes care of the rest. After about 30-60 minutes of idling and drive time, the system will build its own tune so you don't have to.

*Self-learning works best for stock-mild applications. For more aggressive applications and even some stock-mild applications, we offer free tuning software on our website.

How do I set up and program my system?

Interface Options

Our EFI systems are self-learning for most stock-to-mild engine builds. You’ll use one of the included interface modules (depending on the option selected at purchase) to complete the initial setup and make adjustments on the fly. The startup wizard will prompt you with 6–12 setup questions, after which the self-learn feature takes over.

Additional fine-tuning may be required later, depending on your specific build.

Put on 1985 toyota pickup 22r

Put this on a 22r for a quick replacement of a carb that needed rebuilt. Took a little bit of tuning . Recommend using advanced tuning software to get best results but . It runs at any angle .Dynoed 56hp wheel stock and after 76hp wheel. With a 1.00 weather correction factor at 8k ft. Runs good once tuned in . Pulling hiway passes much better. Tuning was actually not bad once I got thru the learning curve.

Put a efi throttle cable on and changed end of throttle linkage to mrgasket throttle linkage end. Worked good. Took a little porting of stock intake as seen below. Ran a walburo 450 pump 3/8 line and fuel filter. Aeromotive regulator and some an fittings. I drilled the stock manifold and tapped it to m18 1.5 pitch tap. Reads o2 perfectly

Purchased an ACES system because of a friend. He said their customer service was great and the product was simple to install. We had it installed in about 8-10 hours removing old systems and installing new. The handheld computer software was out of date so we ran the startup wizard through a PC Laptop. Next day we still had issues with the handheld, called customer service and the rep walked me through a couple of steps and the handheld worked perfect after that. We installed it on a Ford F100. Plenty of room for the original air box, but the mounting bolts were 1/4” too short easy trip to hardware store. So far we have approximately 200 miles on the system and it has worked well. Took a trip up the mountain and gained 3,000 feet and the truck didn’t miss a beat unlike when we had the carb in the truck. Only downside right now is a radio interference at WOT, static now plays loudly through the speakers. Gotta work through that as it wasn’t there before. Thank you Aces Team.
