AFR Monitoring Module
Take the guesswork out of tuning with the Aces AFR Module. Designed for seamless integration with any Aces EFI system or as a standalone wideband system for carbureted engines and other aftermarket EFI setups.
The AFR (Air-Fuel Ratio) module is a device that measures how much air and fuel are mixed inside an engine during combustion. Engines run best when the mixture is balanced (not too rich with fuel and not too lean with air). By using a wideband oxygen sensor, the AFR module constantly reads exhaust gases and calculates the air-fuel ratio in real time. This data is then sent to the handheld through a CAN bus connection for datalogging and display.
Built around the proven Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband oxygen sensor, this module delivers real-time, highly accurate air-fuel ratio (AFR) data directly to your handheld, giving you precise insight into your engine’s performance.
The Aces AFR Module also enables dual O₂ monitoring on TBI systems that typically use a single sensor, allowing your system to track both banks independently for optimized tuning. It’s equally valuable for carbureted applications where accurate AFR readings are essential for fine-tuning performance and fuel economy.
Available in two configurations:
- Standalone System: Includes either a handheld display or Bluetooth module for use with non-Aces systems.
- Aces Add-On Module: Integrates directly with your existing Aces handheld for a streamlined expansion.
Tuning and performance:
Helps ensure the engine is running at the optimal ratio for power or economy.
Diagnostics:
Quickly shows if the engine is running too lean or rich, which prevents damage.
Dual-Channel Monitoring:
Track two independent AFR readings simultaneously for ultimate flexibility.
Fast & Reliable:
Sensor warms up and delivers stable readings in under 20 seconds.
Rugged Design:
Automotive-grade waterproof connectors, IP54-rated housing, vibration tested, and ready for extreme environments.
Fully compatible with all of Aces’ Fuel Injection and Ignition systems that support the Aces CAN network.
