Do you ship internationally?

You bet! Just keep in mind that for international orders, we do not currently collect duties and taxes at checkout. You would need to pay these fees before our shipping partner delivers it to you, and they would reach out to you before delivery with a secure payment link. Don't want to worry about duties and import taxes? Reach out to us to see if we have a reseller in your area, and we can help hand over the transaction to them for an even faster purchase!

How long will it take to get my order?

It depends on where you are on the sphere, but here is how it generally works. Orders are fulfilled first-come, first-served, usually within 1-2 business days, except during the peak holiday season, where they can definitely take longer due to order volume. (Orders placed after 4:00 PM EST are typically fulfilled the following business day.) Once your order is packed up and on its way, our shipping partners take over. How quickly it arrives depends on the delivery option you chose at checkout. Note: You can always pick up your order at our Chattanooga location, but make sure you call us at least 1 hour in advance so we can make sure it's ready for you in time :)

Everything You Need to Know Before Starting Your EFI System

Whenever you’re working on your ride, it’s always important to ensure everything is good to go before you start up for the first time. To make sure your installation goes smoothly, every Aces product comes with a Pre-Start Checklist, right in the manual. Following these steps can give you confidence that you won’t damage your components, your build, or even your body when you first turn the key. Today, we’ll be going over this checklist together, so you can install any Aces product safely.

Luckily for us, these steps are consistent across the Aces catalog, so they should apply equally to any of our EFI products. Note that there may be some extra steps involved for other kinds of installs, such as Transmission Control Modules or Fuel Systems. Let’s get started!

Double-check all wiring connections

It’s critical to make sure that your wiring is set up correctly before you turn the key. Improper wiring can lead to a fire or a dead battery. Short-circuits can even damage your system and make a return necessary. To prevent that, pay special attention to make sure that:

Power and ground are directly connected to the battery.
The small Red “IGNSW” wire from the ECU has power during both Key-On and Cranking.

Ensure that the ECU, fuel pump, fuel lines, and wiring are securely mounted away from heat sources and pinch points

This is crucial. If you’ve also replaced your fuel system to get ready for an EFI install, it can be easy to miss a stray fuel line close to a wire bundle or header. Don’t let it slip by, or disaster could result!

Wideband Oxygen Sensor is installed in the proper location

Proper WBO2 sensor placement is covered in all Aces manuals, but to recap: Sensors should be welded or clamped in or just after the exhaust collector, and well away from the open end of the pipe. Installing it in the wrong location can result in lean or rich bog, and even engine damage if unaddressed.

Check for exhaust leaks

Hopefully, the importance of this one is self-explanatory! Exhaust leaks are inherently dangerous, even more so when fuel is introduced. Double check for safety!

Throttle linkage is fully connected and operational from the pedal

If your throttle doesn’t open the throttle plate(s), you’re going to run into problems. Make sure it's connected the first time, and save yourself some troubleshooting down the line!

Handheld controller powers on when the key is turned to the ON position

Make sure that the Handheld is properly connected, and the CAN wire is actively receiving power. Otherwise, controlling the system will be impossible.

The Startup Wizard has been completed on the handheld controller

In order to properly power your build, your Aces EFI system must be configured for your particular engine. This is easily accomplished by following the steps in the Setup Wizard, but you must finish it before trying to crank the car! A system with the default settings will never work properly.

Fuel pump primes when the key is in the ON position

Once again, it’s important to make sure all the components are properly wired. If the fuel pump isn’t priming, combustion can’t occur.

No fuel leaks are present when the system is under pressure

Fuel leaks can be deadly. Identify any before the first start up, to minimize the chance of combustion or engine damage.
