Included Components: 255 LPH external pump, 100-micron pre-filter, 10-micron final filter, adjustable fuel pressure regulator with liquid-filled gauge, hose assembly tools, and 40 feet of -6AN PTFE-lined hose.

2. Tight-Fit In-Tank Pump Module

In-tank pumps remain an industry favorite for quiet operation and pump longevity. Because the pump is submerged in liquid fuel, heat dissipates faster and pump noise is drastically dampened.

Why Aces Uses PTFE (Teflon) Fuel Lines

Modern pump gas contains ethanol, which breaks down standard rubber fuel hoses over time—leading to microscopic deterioration, fuel vapor odors in your garage, and line degradation. Aces fuel kits includes both -6 and -8AN PTFE (Teflon-lined) hoses.

• Zero Ethanol Permeation: Prevents fuel vapor smells and resists degradation from modern fuel additives.

Critical Tips for EFI Fuel System Installation

• Dual Filtration is Essential: Always run a coarse pre-filter (100-micron) before the pump to protect internal gears from tank debris, followed by a fine post-filter (10-micron) before the injectors.
• Ensure Clean Power: Electric fuel pumps draw significant amperage under load. Always power the pump using dedicated 12V relays with minimum 12-gauge wiring directly from the battery or main distribution block.
• Keep In-Line Pumps Low: In-line pumps push fuel exceptionally well, but they do not pull fuel out of tanks easily. Mount external pumps lower than the bottom of the fuel tank to maintain a continuous gravity feed.
