The Summer 2026 Engineering Update is Here!

The Summer 2026 Engineering Update is Here!

Today, Aces EFI is releasing two major updates for current customers: Aces PC Tuning Software Gen 2 and a major Killshot firmware and calibration update we’re calling Pump Shot Dynamics™.

Both releases are part of a broader effort to make our advanced EFI systems easier to navigate, easier to understand, and more practical to tune. Our systems will continue to provide the detailed control experienced tuners depend on, but we are working to create a clearer path for customers to understand what each function does and how it affects engine behavior.

The videos below provide a complete overview of the July 2026 update, including the new PC software, the updated Killshot Accelerator Pump workflow, and the direction for the Aces EFI product line going forward.

Aces PC Tuning Software Gen 2

Aces PC Tuning Software Gen 2 is more than an updated appearance. It is a major generational upgrade to the way customers interact with their Aces EFI systems.

The new card-based interface provides greater flexibility in how calibration controls, monitoring channels, and tuning tools are arranged. Monitoring and calibration can use independent layouts, panels can be resized or moved into floating windows, and custom workspaces can be created around the specific task being performed.

Gen 2 also improves ECU connection recognition, monitoring alarms, individual unit selection, custom logging, configuration import and export, calibration-file identification, table tracking, HeatMap visualization, direct editing within two-dimensional calibration tables, and more.

The result is a software platform that can be organized around the tuner’s workflow rather than requiring every customer to work from the same fixed layout.

Watch the video above for a complete walkthrough of the new interface and features.

Killshot Aces Pump Shot Dynamics™

Aces Pump Shot Dynamics™ is a major firmware and calibration update for the Killshot series.

The update refines how the system manages additional fuel during changes in throttle position and engine load. More importantly, it presents that capability through a clearer Accelerator Pump workflow based on what the driver and tuner actually experience.

Setup now begins inside the Killshot Wizard, where customers can select from three starting profiles. These profiles provide different initial Pump Shot Duration baselines, allowing the customer to begin with a setup that more closely matches the needs of the engine and intake combination.

From there, the tuning process is organized around three straightforward concepts:

  • First Hit describes the immediate Pump Shot response when the throttle opens.
  • Fuel Carry describes how the additional fuel continues through the transition as airflow and engine operating conditions change.
  • MAP Load Assist provides additional support when engine demand rises rapidly, including situations where the increase in load is not caused by a large throttle movement.

The Wizard provides a guided starting point, while the detailed Peak, Duration, Retention, TPS Pump Shot, and MAP Load Assist controls remain available for customers and professional tuners who need full custom control.

Watch the video above for a complete explanation of the Wizard profiles and the updated tuning workflow.

Please note: the Aces Connect App will be updated with these new features and fixes soon, when validation is completed with the App Store and Google Play.

A Clearer Approach to EFI Tuning

The updated Killshot workflow is the starting point for an ongoing effort across Aces EFI.

We will continue reviewing the terminology and organization used throughout our products so that customers can more easily understand what individual controls do and how they relate to actual engine behavior.

In the next phase, we’ll continue adding help menus throughout the software. These menus will provide clearer explanations of individual settings, how they affect the engine, and what customers should evaluate when making adjustments. We’ll continue working to provide customers with more accessibility tools in upcoming updates.

Over time, the same clearer terminology and guided approach introduced with the Killshot will be expanded to additional Aces EFI products.
