Duties/Responsibilities:
- Directly coordinate with R&D teams to define and execute product testing plans.
- Create training materials and give product/technical training to the sales/customer service/tech support teams
- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
- Respond to end-user, dealer, and distributor inquiries regarding new and existing products
- Provide support in troubleshooting and determining source of customer problems. Respond to customer issues in a timely and effective manner whether by telephone, or email.
- Interface with engineering and technical teams to determine long-term solutions to frequent technical problems using the bug tracker or email to alert team of new issues
- Maintain thorough understanding of all products as well as automotive technology in general
- Work with other teams within the company to ensurecustomers’ satisfaction
- Conduct outbound calls or email with answers (technical questions)
- Educate customers uses of various products and assist with verifying that their applications work as expected
Required Skills/Abilities:
- College or above Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and electronic fuel injection systems.
- Be an automotive enthusiast, working experience in the automotive performance industry is required, knows about hot rods/muscle cars/classic cars well, strong understanding of automotive performance aftermarket products, especially electronic fuel injection systems, ignition products and etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills
- Two plus years of technical support experience preferred
- Demonstrate high level of dependability
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and Internet.
- Working experience in EFI system companies is a plus
